The AAI currently has funding for the following research projects which are currently underway:

ADHD Biomarkers Lab

Project 1: Examination of EEG profiles and QEEG biomarkers in identifying specific presentations of ADHD and comorbidities including depression, anxiety (generalised, phobia & social anxiety), ODD, Conduct Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder

Child sample: 250 participants

Adult sample: 150 participants

Project 2: EEG profiles in patients with ADHD and their relationships to neuropsychological deficits: Biomarkers for neurocognitive deficits

ADHD Neuromodulation Lab

Project 1: The effects of QEEG-based Neurofeedback training in children with ADHD

Child sample: 70 participants in active trial

Project 2: Long-term effects of Neurofeedback in children with ADHD: 6 month, 1 year, 2 year and 5 year follow-up
